Dark ruby color on a red base. Fruit forward on the nose. Nice bouquet of red fruit. Hints of pencil lead and graphite. Notes of licorice, wet potting soil, a whiff of red clay bricks and integrated oak. Very aggressive, tannic, alcoholic, acidic and full bodied. Huge structure which later paired excellent with charcoal grilled steak. 93 Points CS.
